Parksville to Port Alberni

We didn’t have far to go so we were in no rush to leave in the morning. We pulled out just shortly after 11:00 and headed down the road to Port Alberni. We arrived at the campground and set up. We then took off to check out the town and find out where the boat was leaving from the next morning. We were booked on the “Lady Rose” delivery ship which runs up Barkley Sound dropping such items as mail and other supplies to the towns along the sound that have no road access.

Back at the campsite Colin found a great patch of blackberries. I made a pie and tarts.....yummy! We also had enough for breakfast on our cereal.
