Exploring Ucluelet

We left the campground and headed for the Wild Pacific Trail a 2.5 KM walk along the shore of the island. We had spectacular views of the ocean and the shore line. We saw several hump back whales from the shore. From there we went and had a small lunch and then did a 2.8 KM walk on the Willowbrea trail which took us to a beach where the dogs had a lot of fun playing in the surf and the sand. When we got back to the trailer we had to give Splash a bath to clean the salt water out of her fur. After all that walking we went and had a hot tub to sooth our bodies from all that walking.
