Lets go to Palmer!

We decided to stop in Palmer for 3 days as we are waiting for something to arrive by UPS. We parked in the Fox Run RV Park, a small park just outside of Palmer. After landing the trailer we took the truck into Palmer to check out the town. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the town and the care that was taken in grass cutting and gardening. We went to the Farmers Market downtown and bought fresh Peas, and Zucchini. We then walked over to the Information centre where they had a beautiful garden. There were flowers around the outside of the beds and vegetables in the middle. Huge cabbages, lettuce, red and black currents, raspberries and potatoes. A truly neat thing to find downtown. Splash had fun smelling all the flowers.

Back at the campsite we made deep fried Salmon, Halibut and chips and of course our fresh peas from the market.
