Hair Cuts, Shops and Scenic Drives
It’s cold and damp and generally not a very nice day. Splash and I went for a long walk this morning and when we came back I decided it was time for her to have a trim. I set up underneath the awning and away we went. One hour later she was looking much better. A bath, blow dry and brushing finished her off and she looks respectable again.
The boys were going fishing so Frances and I decided to do the shops along the Spit. We saw lots of beautiful things as most of the gift items are done by natives. Ivory, Antler and wood carvings, art work and crafts. I saw a few things that I would really like but space and price dictate a lot.
When we got back we all went out for dinner a “Don Jose’s” Mexican Restaurant. After dinner we drove along the road at the top of the bluff that over looks Kachemak Bay........amazing views!!
